ByteSnap's 2024 Review
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a nice break!

This year has been another exciting time of innovation and growth at ByteSnap. We want to thank all our customers, suppliers, partners, and our community of subscribers and followers for being with us throughout.
As we look ahead to the new year, here is a quick look back at ByteSnap’s 2024 highlights.
Spring
Automated Electronic Product Design Service Launched
In February, we launched our Automated Electronic Product Design Service, streamlining our client’s journey from initial spec through to market-ready solutions.
AI In Electronics Survey & Whitepaper
In the spring, we surveyed over 400 UK electronics professionals about the role of AI in their workplace. We then released a whitepaper sharing their insights, covering the opportunities and challenges AI brings to the industry.

Summer
Wolf Charity Run
In June, the team took on The Wolf Run 2024. From icy swims and towering walls to mud-filled wades, the 10k course pushed us to our limits. It was a fantastic team-building adventure.

Design Engineering Expo
We returned to the NEC in June where we demonstrated optimised new product designs for access control for people in vulnerable environments for increased safety and efficiency

Summer Day Out
In July we squeezed in a much-deserved day off – starting with a coach ride to Bridgnorth, followed by a fun-filled canoeing adventure down the River Severn to Arley.
We paddled 6 miles to Hampton Loade for lunch at The Unicorn. After, we continued to Arley before completing the trip with a ride on the Severn Valley Railway. With only one boat capsizing, we chalked it up as a success.

Astute Charity Golf Day
In the summer, we supported design partner Astute’s charity golf day, where £50K was raised for raised for two incredibly worthy charities: Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST) and Feed up Warm up.

Autumn
Microchip Masters in Berlin
In September, some of the team flew to Berlin for the Microchip Technology Inc.’s EU Masters Conference. As a trusted design partner, we were delighted to be invited to showcase our products.

Introducing Marvin at EDS 24
We introduced Marvin at Engineering Design Show (EDS) in October. Marvin is our live demo of non-invasive people tracking, featuring mmWave technology. ByteSnap Director, Graeme Wintle, spoke with EPDT about the technology behind him.
Accompanying Marvin at EDS, ByteSnap Director Dunstan Power shared a seminar on ‘Spotting R&D Winners and Losers – How Best to Invest Your R&D Budget’
Particle Partnership
We also shared news about our strategic partnership with Particle, to accelerate our IoT innovation. The collaboration combines our embedded systems expertise and Particle’s robust platform, simplifying IoT development.
End of the year...
